“Does the black enamel come off?”
The black enamel can come off. We’ve seen many pieces last over 30 years and never have a problem. We’ve also seen pieces with a portion of a letter missing within a few years. The black enamel is very traditional of Hawaiian Jewelry and we do offer a lifetime guarantee on the enameling if it ever wears off. Many of our customers find raised letters or diamond lettering as an option.

“How do I get the correct size for a Hawaiian bangle bracelet?”
Tighten your hand in hand puppet position; by placing you thumb against ridge between you middle finger and rings finger. Take a soft measuring tape and measure the circumference of your hand (knuckles), with that tricky thumb knuckle on the bottom. The measurement should be in inches. Note, most average woman wear a bangle size of “8”.

“Can the Hawaiian rings and bracelets be resized?”
Most of our stock rings have a simple shank in the back that’s easy for any jeweler to resize. Those items that are eternity in design can be costly once the items are completed. We charge $50.00 for this process and additional cost for any gold or material needed (sizing up).
